Thought Provoking Questions of “Hard Work”

hard work

Your lack of sleep at night,

Your stress about financials,

Your troubled relationships,

These will ultimately take years off your life, not add to it.

“Work hard, outwork everybody” is universal advice across the high performers.

What does hard work look like for you?

In order for it to be “hard work” does it need to be hard? Or does “hard” just mean putting in more hours than your competition?

Is it a requirement that hard work is miserable?  Why do most people get that subtle feeling of avoidance when they hear the term?

What if the “hard work” you chose was authentic to you, was invigorating, energizing, and made you feel alive?

If “hard work” is how you get ahead, what if you put yourself in a position where the harder you worked, the more you got out of life, the more time you spent in flow, the more love you were able to give?

Every day won’t feel like this, that is where discipline and grit come into play, but what if 80% of them were?

What if you built a life you didn’t want to take a vacation from?

What do you think would be the outcome of that?
