The Weight We Carry

Do you have a feud?
Did somebody wrong you?
Did the world screw you over?
Nobody gives a shit, that weight you carry is yours and yours alone.
I understand the merry go road of the mind can be painful in these situations. Re-living those conversations, re-working those situations, each decision you made, each thing you said, each thing they said.
What makes you so sure you are right?
Try to look at the situation from a different angle. What happens when you set your ego and emotional satisfaction of telling someone how wrong they are aside.
Ask yourself these questions in an emotionally level state to work through your next move:
What would it look like if I was wrong?
How would I feel if I were in their shoes?
What is my desired outcome?
What should I do if I truly care about this person?
It took me too many years to realize that sometimes you are so right that you are wrong.
The sooner you can learn to operate out of love, understanding, and empathy, the sooner you will live with less weight.
