Avoid ruts,

Avoid stagnation,

Avoid complacency,

As we get older, our brains attempt to put our lives on autopilot.

If we are not careful, our days can become these mindless blurs of waking up, going to work, going to sleep, then doing it all over again.

Take time often to live fully in the present moment,

Take a deep breath and taste the air,

Feel the pain or pleasure of what you are going through,

Focus deeply on your most important relationships,

Do something new you wouldn’t normally do,

Mix up your schedule for a month and see how that changes your flow.

Keep things interesting, change small, change often.

These are the things that make life worth living.
