Thoughts On Emotionally Driven Decisions

You will never make good decisions when you are emotionally driven.

If something happens that makes you angry, jealous, envious, disappointed… take your time before firing off that text, sending that email, making that phone call.

The more emotionally triggered you feel, the longer you should wait.

Those feelings will spike and then slowly begin to subside, react to the problem when you get back to level.

When you can react with a calm, clear mind, the event that happened can start to take a different form.

Look at it from another perspective and this obstacle, this challenge, can start to look a little more like an opportunity.

An opportunity to be the bigger person,

An opportunity to show your peers how cool you are under pressure,

An opportunity to make your processes better.

React to adversity with calmness and poise, your results will compound up instead of spiraling down.
