The Illusion of Busy

When somebody asks you how you have been lately, is your answer “busy”?
Do you have white space in your calendar?
Do you have time set aside each day to sit in the quiet, the calm?
One of the first things that can fall away when life gets “busy” is time to listen to the only voice that really matters.
The quieter you can make your surroundings, the more you will be able to hear.
Is your self-worth affected by your level of “busy”?
Do you feel you have not had a productive day unless you are “busy”?
I would argue that it is just the opposite - to be busy, jumping from task to task without thought suffocates creativity, cripples your ability to be productive within your superpower.
Re-think what a “productive” day looks like.
Without time to think and create - our destiny will be an endless loop of bragging about how “busy” we are.
