Pat Flynn is the Founder of Flight Builders, a construction company building affordable housing in Northeast FL.  Pat is the former President of Yellowbird, a real estate investment company, brokerage, and lender that bought and sold over 400 houses annually as well as owned and operated a 300 home rental portfolio.

 

Fueled by the belief that true happiness stems from realizing one's potential and pursuing goals that align with individual strengths, Pat is dedicated to fostering a community that energizes and uplifts its team. Flight's purpose statement, "Fulfilling our potential and inspiring others to do so by living life with authenticity, growth, and relentless execution," serves as a guiding principle.

 

Originally from Massachusetts, Pat graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 2009, earning a commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Balancing a career in the engine room of ships in the U.S. Merchant Marine and Offshore Drilling Rigs, Pat also ventured into real estate, buying and selling properties on the side.

 

Pat is passionate about making an impact on the worldwide mental health crisis, he believes that much of it can be solved by helping others live more authentic, intentional, and disciplined lives. Living your life with intentionality means knowing where you are going and why, this knowing allows you to eliminate distractions and maintain a clear mind. With a clear mind, you can look deep inside your heart and accomplish anything you have the vision to dream of.

 

Pat has been married four years to his wife Jane and has three kids, Nora (6), Molly (3), and Walker (3 months).

My favorite book of 2022 was "Becoming Supernatural" by Dr. Joe Dispenza. I also follow Aubrey Marcus, Tim Urban, and Tim Ferriss.

My #1 personal goal for 2023 is to grow my relationship with Jane and have her onboard, giving her input on my alignment sheet, being on the same page with our goals, and every aspect of the future tab.

My #1 business goal for 2023 is to ensure that Flight has a clear and simplified future. We are playing to our strengths, being opportunistic while having a long-term 20-mile march strategy based on data and demographics.

My best habit acquisition for Q1 2023 is writing handwritten thank-you letters to people who inspire me.
